This cave was first discovered and explored by the GERSL in 1991 which was stopped by a blowing impenetrable crack. The  geological study revealed the importance of this cave and   In 2012,the  GERSL carried out the 1^st  successful attempt to enlarge the crack allowing for further exploration which again was stopped by another blowing crack.

The GERSL in 2013  is conducting a geophysical survey to determine whether further exploration are possible.
